Every year Toowoomba celebrates with the fantastic Carnival of Flowers festival. This year the weather turned on a spectacular day, perfect for watching the annual parade. My family and I found a spot at Queens Park, at the end of the parade to sit and watch the floats come in. The enthusiasm of the marchers and participants in the parade didn’t seem to wane, even after marching for over an hour! The vibrancy and details of some of the floats was quite wonderful. Here’s a few of my favourites….

Of course, after the parade, there is sideshow alley just waiting for you! This ride made my tummy flip just watching it. Eeeek! We ended the afternoon with hot chips and an ice-cream, and took the kids home to an early bedtime. Win-win!Image may be NSFW.

I still have weekday availability for family sessions during the school holidays and Carnival of Flowers. If you’d like to book in for a session while the kids are relaxed, email me Angela@belleimages.com.au . For more information on sessions click here.
